Over 1,000 hotels in the US and Canada have been identified as "rider-friendly". This hotel company now offers special services for motorcycle riders including: wipe-down towels at check in and access to a wash station at no extra cost.

Additional perks include designated parking, tar remover, sun screen and lip balm. A rather amazing list of freebies, but there is more!

Best Western has forged an agreement with Harley-Davidson to bring special travel benefits to Harley lovers. In addition to the perks already mentioned, if you join the free Ride Rewards program, you can earn points for staying in qualified rooms that are good for redemption at any of the 4,000 Best Western hotels worldwide. Redemption also includes the 1,000 "rider-friendly" hotels across North America.

Finally, Best Western now offers free access to a Web application called the "Ride Planner" which uses a combination of Microsoft Virtual Earth and U.S. Great Roads. The Planner also displays Best Western Hotels and Harley Dealers along your planned routes.
