Harley-Davidson unveils two new models

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 22 (UPI) — Harley-Davidson introduced a new road bike and a retro Softail series motorcycle at the winter meeting of motorcycle dealers in San Antonio.
At least one, the FLSTSB Cross Bones, will maintain the company’s macho image, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Tuesday.
The Cross Bones, with a suggested retail price $16,795, has a solo seat, a nod to the individualistic spirit to which Harley-Davidson caters. It also features mini-ape-hanger handlebars and a chopped front fender.
The Journal Sentinel claims the bike “has a retro look from a period following World War II.”
The company also unveiled a new Buell Ulysses motorcycle geared for long-distance road trips.
Buell, owned by Harley-Davidson, unveiled the Ulysses XB12XT. It features a 4.4-gallon fuel tank, heated handle grips and two 12-volt accessory power outlets. The suggested price is $12,995.
